Engage Detroit
In collaboration with the Detroit Reuse Collective’s Cyrus Penarroyo, Laura Peterson, and Peter Yi, I worked on the development of a workshop for residents of Detroit who were engaged in renovating houses purchased from the Detroit Land Bank Authority.
We used the archetype of the chair as a tool to display specific moments in wood-frame construction, like roofing, flooring, balloon framed walls, and platform framed walls.
