This project is about bringing EPDM, a material that is usually hidden and out of reach, to the fore; placing it in front of people’s eyes and in their hands in the setting of a public theater.

Three approaches to assembly - draped, stacked, and piled - provide three different textural experiences, each enhanced and drawn into focus by sharp directional light from projectors. Within this space people are welcome to sit on, climb, build or break down the assemblies as a means of developing a personal and communal knowledge of the material.
